Dan Senor
Dan Senor, an expert on Iraq, Israeli-Palestinian relations, and Middle East and Persian Gulf geopolitics, security, and economics, is adjunct senior fellow for Middle Eastern studies at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Senor is an analyst for Fox News and a founding partner of Rosemont Capital. He is co-author of the New York Times best-seller Start-Up Nation, The Story of Israel's Economic Miracle, and is a contributor to Fox News, MSNBC, The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and the Washington Post.
From 2003 to 2004, Senor served in the Administration of George W. Bush, as a Pentagon and White House advisor based in Doha, Qatar at U.S. Central Command Forward, and later based in Kuwait and Iraq, where he worked for both the Office of Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance (ORHA) and the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA). He was chief spokesman and senior advisor for the Coalition. One of the longest serving civilians in Iraq, Senor was awarded the Department of Defense Distinguished Civilian Service Award. Previously, Senor was a foreign policy and communications advisor in the U.S. Senate.
Senor completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario and studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He later attended Harvard Business School, where he completed his MBA.
